Reuniting Blues Chapter 7: Monday couple Fan Fiction~

Just when Ji Hyo was bursting out in happiness from seeing Gary's totally red face, a shadow loomed over her. It's hand grasped her shoulder, while he squeaked,

"Hello, Sung Im sshi~…"

Ji Hyo, astonished from the familiar voice, turned over, only to be shocked senselessly.

"Oh…Hi…" Ji Hyo stuttered the words through gritted teeth.

Kang Gary, too, was shocked. He almost fell down his chair, which could have been a funny sight if the person in front of him was Suk Jin.

"Um…sorry to interrupt your couple's talk, but i just want to say a hello to my 'good' friend," The man's lips formed a smile, gesturing out a hand to Ji Hyo.

"Oh…um…Hi, Baek Chang Joo shii~" Ji Hyo merely mumbled out the words that was unintelligible.

Ji Hyo lifted her hand, to meet her ex-boyfriend, whose eyes were twinkling towards Gary.

Yep, it was that awkward. Gary eyes widened upon meeting the cep's gaze.

"Eh…Hello, Baek chang Joo shii~. Me and Ji hyo aren't having a date, just having a lunch as friends," Gary said, his own words piecing his heart.

As Gary wasn't good at lying, Chang Joo believed Gary, but his eyes could see through to gary's heartbroken emotion.

"Well, I'm only here to say hello. Well, we're still friends, aren't we? We'll contact soon," Chang Joo grinned at the both of them, before turning his back at them, walking to the stairs.

Ji Hyo didn't know why, but Gary's words made Ji Hyo mad.

She felt as if like a few days back, a failure at her own relationship. Her heart utterly broke into millions, every droplet of blood splashed on her body parts like bullets, making her hurt thousands more.

Just having a lunch as friends

Ji Hyo held her chest tightly, as if trying to form her broken heart together. Is she in love with him thats why she's having this emotion? Ji Hyo was baffled at her own mind and heart. Nope…it can't be, right?

Gary shifted his chair back in place, his feelings mixed.

Why was Ji Hyo's CEO here? Isn't he supposed to be in his office at this time?

Gary was also infuriated by his own word formation. He had always dreamt about having a date with Ji  Hyo, his beloved, but he had just spoken as if he didn't care.

Just having lunch as friends

Gary wanted to flip open his head that Patrick the starfish in SpongBob Squarepants cartoon always do, and take out his brain to take a stomp at it. He could feel his face getting hot, so he tried to control his anguish emotions. He breathed in and out a couple of times, he couldn't get all like a mad scientist in front of Ji Hyo, right?

When he calmed down, he saw that Ji Hyo was blushing and was clenching her chest. He felt embarrassed looking at what Ji Hyo was doing, but he had to ask as a caring oppa of here's.

"Ji Hyo ah~, what happened? Why are you like that?" Gary asked in a worried tone.

"…" Ji Hyo seemed to have blanked out and didn't reply.

"Ji Hyo?" Gary flitted his hand in front of Ji Hyo a couple of times before she could come to her senses.

"Eh? Oppa?" Ji Hyo questioned as she removed her hand and put them on her lap.

"I was asking what happened…you were um…kind of um…blushing and um…" Gary scratched the back of his head awkwardly and his face was beetroot red.

"Uh…nothing oppa," Ji Hyo replied. "I'm fine."

"Oh, sorry, i was kind of worried…" Gary's face flushed, but was saved by his worker, who was walking to their table with a Bulgogi burger and a can of sprite.

"Eh…Don't you serve your boss first?" Gary asked, obviously joking.

"Um…boss…Ladies first, after all," The worker said coolly and shuffled away to get his boss's lunch.

"Keke…Oppa, he's right! Ladies first!" Ji Hyo comments, as she chomped down her juicy and delicious looking burger.

"Haha…just joking. How's the burger?" Gary shrugs, as his worker arrives with his Biblimbap and Bulgogi grill.

"Umm! Oppa! It's DaeBak!" Ji Hyo exclaims, making a good sign with her left hand.

"Jjinja? Gumawo~" Gary says, then shouts to his worker. "Hey! MinWoo! Did you here? Song Ji Hyo here says that she loves the burger!"

The worker turns back, taken aback, but recovered almost immediately and shrugs,"I'll inform the chef."

"Oppa! Why did you shout?" Ji Hyo gobbles down her last bite of her burger, asking it worriedly.

"Why? Can't i shout?" Gary looked puzzled, only to face Ji Hyo's wide eyes and her glances around their vicinity.

"Oppa, people might think that i might be here and they will come in here, intruding and create a scandal!" Ji Hyo answers, biting at her lower lip.

"But you are here!" Gary says, still oblivious to the dangerous situation.

"Haish! Oppa!" Ji Hyo stood up, gulping down the last drop of her Sprite and grabbed Gary's hand.

"Eh?" Gary stared at Ji Hyo's thin hands wrapped around his thick buffy one, redness spreading over his cheeks.

"Oppa! We have to go before the fans come!" Ji Hyo tightened her grip on Gary's hand and sprinted to the stairs, pulling Gary, still with his chopsticks, behind her.

"But i haven't paid yet!" Gary shouts behind Ji Hyo, getting her pace.

"Never mind, Oppa! Aren't you the boss?" Ji Hyo says as she stepped on the last flight of stairs  to the ground floor.

"Oh yeah!" Gary smiled, still blushing as he felt Ji Hyo's warm hand embraced in his.

"Yeah! Why are they here together?"

"See Ji Hyo Unnie's hand around his hand?"

"Squeal!"

A few passer-bys spotted Ji Hyo and Gary, but they were much too quick for them take pictures. They just zoomed by before they could snap a few pictures to post on Facebook or Twitter to go viral.

Gary was suddenly reminded of the past few incidents where Ji Hyo had sped away in lightning speed and chuckled.

"Oppa, why are you laughing? And where's your car?" Ji Hyo asked curiously.

"Eh? Nothing… Ji Hyo ah~, i think you over shot…my car is at the other side," Gary says.

Ji Hyo stopped abruptly and turned to looked at the innocent Hee Gun.

"And you didn't tell me?" Ji Hyo shout-whispered.

"Well, you just kept dragging me…" Gary kept his answers low scale. He didn't want a fight between he and Ji Hyo…That would be bad, bad, news.

"It's okay…So, how about we have tea break now? I know a good dessert store nearby," Ji Hyo was distracted by her tastebuds that led her to her favourite dessert store.

"Jjinja? You know a store nearby? Well, you lead then~" Gary's eyes sparkled, hoping that Ji Hyo would take his hands again.

"Oppa, did you bring your sunglasses?" Ji Hyo asked Gary as she wore her Coach sunglasses.

"Um…nope," Gary scratched his head, he had totally forgot to bring his sunglasses!

"Haish…oppa! Here~wear my cap," Ji Hyo passed over her Googims cap.

"Oh…gumawo," Gary put his LeeSsang cap down a bit so that it covers his eyes and put on Ji Hyo's cap, which smells of her Lavender perfume. He smelt it deeply and topped it on his LeeSsang cap.

Ji Hyo had the almond smell in her nostrils, possessing her towards the famous dessert shop which was already in front of her.

"Gary oppa! Ppali!" Ji Hyo pushed open the doors, hearing 'cling' sounds of the bell placed on the glass plated door, the workers were immediately notified of new customers.

One look from the lady boss and she brought them to the room upstairs and took their orders in lightning speed.

"Ji Hyo ah~, you've been here before?" Gary asked Ji Hyo curiously.

"I came here as a child with my family. This was my neighbour's shop. She often invites us over for tea," Ji Hyo answers.

"Around this area?" Gary asked.

"Nope, she lives in Jamsil and i was living at another town, but she was close friends with my mother and when she opened a store there at Jamsil, she often invite us over with her other neighbours," Ji Hyo answers swiftly and grins at her past memories.

"Neighbour in Jamsil?" Gary asked and a faint image of a angelic girl that looked like a doll appeared in his mind.

"Yeah, her name was Mrs Kim," Ji Hyo murmured, her mind already filled with images of her good memories.

"Mrs Kim?!" Gary's eyes widened, his memories stirring.

"Hee Gun! Haha… You look funny in big-nose-spectacles!" The girl was putting a pair of specs on his face and he was smiling like a Bapo.

"Happy birthday! You are five, today!"

Reuniting Blues Chapter 6: Monday couple Fanfiction

"Oppa, we should change this to Saranghaeyo instead of haeyo haeyo," Ji Hyo added as she pointed at one of Gary's drafts for his latest works.

"But it's for the rapping parts. Hmm... Yeah. How about Sarang, Sarang, Haeyo!" Gary's eyes sparkled and had a lightbulb moment.

"Yea! It fits in to the tune too! Great Oppa!" Ji Hyo smiled as the two of them Hi-5-ed.

"Well, I have a talent at this," Gary grinned broadly as he folded his arms, acting proud.

"You're so funny! Yeah, and I also have a talent at singing and dancing!" Ji Hyo giggled.

"You think I'm joking? Yeah, you have a talent at being blear!" Gary teased.

"Yah! Kang Gary! That's my nickname! I don't blank out all the time..." Ji Hyo retorted as she shone her glaring eyes at Gary.

"Alasso....I'm just joking," Gary shrugged as he pretended to back off jokingly.

Ji Hyo didn't reply but sniggered a little as they continued their work.

Gary wrote down the last few words on his paper and put it into his neat folder, which was entitled as edited work. Despite being busy, Kang Gary has his ways for flatters. He was extremely organised and knew wherever he had placed everything and what were they.

"Oppa, is this for the new album?" Ji Hyo asked curiously as she continued reading Gary's draft for his new song.

"Oh, this is for the later albums, the latest one is already under licensing and publishing," Gary answered as he placed the folder at the side of his coded shelf where he put everything that was related to LeeSsang.

"Wow! DaeBak! You and Gil work so fast!" Ji Hyo praised the duo of rappers whom were known worldwide.

"Yeah, of course. Being popular has its works, me and Gil have been busy since becoming Hallyus." Gary scratched his head, embarrassed, from hearing a praise from his beloved Monday Girlfriend.

"Ya~LeeSsang's so cool~Oppa is cool! I'm gonna be you two fans until forever!" Ji Hyo cooed out in Fangirl excitement and unexpectedly planted a kiss on Gary's right cheek.

Did Ji Hyo just kiss me? Gary thought, his cheeks tingling with hotness.

Ji Hyo, too, was looking startled. Her eyes were all super big and her face seemed to be painted with red paint, blushing vigorously.

"…" Both of them held this silent for a good few minutes before Gary cut the awkwardness off.

"Um…I think its kinda late…Should we have lunch now?" Gary suggested as he took a glance at his leather patented watch.

"Um…Yeah, oppa. Its already 4," Ji Hyo also looked at her watch, unable to break the tension between the two which she had caused.

"I guess we should have lunch and tea break altogether then," Gary scratched the back of his head as he piled the work that they had done at one side and those they hadn't even touched on at the other.

"Okay, oppa! I treat you for tea and you treat me for lunch!" Ji Hyo bargained as she swung her bag over her shoulder and stood up.

"Haha…Our Mong Ji knows how to get the cheapest deal huh? Kay… Oppa will treat you for Lunch," Gary grinned as he slid his iPhone into his side pocket and his wallet into the other one.

The little bargain that Ji Hyo made the awkwardness which was burning in the air to cool off and disappear. As they always are, the Monday Couple are indeed two with no awkwardness with one another as they walked out of LeeSsang's private house and studio to the straight black van of Gary.

Song Ji Hyo, why did you peck Gary on his cheek? Ji Hyo patted both of her light rosy cheeks as she strolled behind her Gary oppa to his van.

Ji Hyo had no idea why she had did that. Was it because of fangirl craziness? Or is it because of…

Nope, it can't be. Ji Hyo had unexpectedly kissed Gary on his cheek when she had thought of saying Hwaiting to him. But why didn't she say Hwaiting instead of kissing him? Ji Hyo kept patting her cheeks to ooze out her embarrassment and from her cheeks from getting warmer.

Kang Gary was walking towards his van with Ji Hyo behind him when he kept hearing continuous sounds of 'pat,pat,pat,pat,pat'. It was as if someone was slapping herself behind him.

Gary sneaked a peek behind him and saw the Cute Ji Hyo in Mong~mode right again as she patted her cheeks voraciously, making them slightly red. Gary thought it was rather cute and chuckled, too loud for his liking.

"Yah! Kang Gary! Why are you laughing?" Ji Hyo snapped out from her thoughts and barked at Gary, who had turned around to face her.

"Nothing…You just look so cute while doing the patting action with your Mong~ face…Haha…"Gary smiled from ear to ear as he explained, while opening the Passenger's door for Ji Hyo to get in.

"Jinjja? I thought it was kind of cold as it is somewhere near fall," Ji Hyo's face flushed with colour as red as chilies.

Kang Gary says that i'm cute? Ji Hyo silently thought as she started patting her face again, now more vigorously.

"Is that so? But it seems hot to me…Are you sure its about the temperature?" Gary teased mischievously.

"Yah! Kang Gary! Jugelle(You want to die is it)?" Ji Hyo growled as she readied a flying kick straight to his face.

"Ya…chill. I mean no harm! Now, get in the Gary cab," Gary gestured sincerely to Ji Hyo and placed his left hand out to ease her up to the van.

"Gary cab? Haha…" Ji Hyo snickered at Gary's side joke as she took his hand and got lifted to his 'cab'.

"Now, Ji Hyo ah…Where would you want to eat lunch?" Gary asked as he swiftly took a turn out of the house gates to the road.

"Um…you suggest then. Since you are treating," Ji Hyo replies as she admired the beautiful scenery of the roadsides, trees, beautiful lakes and a big park.

"Hmm… How about the food court?" Gary jokes as his eyebrows lifted a little.

"Yah! Food court?" Ji Hyo emitted a stimulated punch to his left cheek, but not to hit him.

"Geez…calm down. Anyway, we are celebrities, we aren't gonna be caught dead at the food court having lunch with citizens snapping photos of us whenever we pick up our chopsticks or slurping a piece of noodle…" Gary says, sarcastically.

"Kang Gary, you are so funny~…" Ji Hyo guffaws as she looked at Gary's funny face as he acted out the scenes in his exaggerated little drama.

"Kay…I get it, I'm the clown Gary!" Gary says, but immediately looks serious as a car swobbed to their lane.

"Gary oppa, you look funny…" Ji Hyo chuckles again as she sees a never before seen Gary.

"Well, without you here, i would be holding a serene face the whole day… Now, can you please tell me where you want to have lunch?" Gary shrugged as he swerved to the right to avoid a big truck which was containing cement.

"Hmm…I guess it still ends with me deciding, huh? Um… How about your restaurant? I have not been there for quite a while," Ji Hyo suggests as she clutched her seatbelt.

"Hm.. okay! Off to LeeSsang's restaurant!" Gary smiled smugly as he was happy that Ji Hyo had chose his restaurant, out of the other fancy ones that they could've gone to.

"Ay! Boss! You are here today! With um… Ji Hyo!" The witty manager appeared next to the Monday Couple as he bowed to his boss and also fitted a few winks during the process.

"Ah…continue with your work. Just put us at any available table. Don't let us affect your work," Gary blushed slightly at his worker's remark.

"Its alright, boss. During this time, not many people are around the area. So, only the two of you and a few other customers are here," The manager managed another wink at Ji Hyo(this time) and caused Ji Hyo to flinch from the awkwardness.

"Okay then," Gary blinked his eyes as the manager called out for a worker called Ji En to lead them to a table upstairs.

"Ji Hyo, after you," Gary says as Ji Hyo smiled from his gentlemanly gesture and followed Ji En upstairs.

"What would you two want to have?" Ji En questions them as she took out a notepad nervously as she took the order.

"Um…Biblimbap and Bulgogi grill," Gary says as placed his hand on the menu, he didn't even look into it before taking the order.

"Oppa, you don't need to look at the menu?" Ji Hyo glazed her curiosity to Gary.

"Well, Oppa came up with the menu. I memorised every single dish!" Gary smirked proudly as he answered Ji Hyo's question.

"Haha…Jinjja?" Ji Hyo smiled.

She then turned over to Ji En, the waitress, and ordered a bulgogi burger and a can of Sprite.

"You have good taste, milady," Gary commented as he winks at Ji Hyo.

"Jinjja? Haha…I eat lots of good food…"Ji Hyo grinned as she turned her hair behind her ears.

"Um…boss? Can you and Ji Hyo-shi take a photo with me?" Ji En took out her phone, her hand shaking from her nervousness of seeing her idols.

"Huh? Uh, sure! But don't post it to the internet! Its a lunch, a favour returned," Gary warned but agreed with his worker.

"Kamsahamida! I'm a fan of Monday Couple! Oh!" Ji En shrieked as Ji Hyo and Gary leaned to her to take the picture with her.

'Click!' The sound signalled the take of the photograph and Gary and Ji Hyo got back to their seats.

"Really? You are a Monday Couple fan? Oh, gumawo~" Ji Hyo bowed in thanks for the fanship of Gary and her love line.

"Oh, DaeBak! I took a picture with Ji Hyo and Gary oppa!" But Ji En was already in her own fan world.

"Haha…I wonder if she would really keep the promise…"Gary smiled as he revealed his shiny white teeth.

"I'm sure she will. Now, i shall test you if you really do know all of the menu's contents!" Ji Hyo took up the forgotten menu that Ji En had forgot to take back after their little photo session and placed it in front of her.

"Okay then, ask if you must!" Gary shone with confidence as he knew that he can remember everything in the menu as he had thought them all up.

"I'm starting! What is no. 5 in the list under Set meals?" Ji Hyo started asking excitedly.

"Umm…Isn't that the Bulgogi burger you ordered just now?" Gary answered, though, his confidence decreasing from the sheer load of dishes in the menu.

"Hah! No! Its Biblimbap! The one you ordered just now! Kang Gary, you don't know…" Ji Hyo laughed, causing Gary to become Tomato Gary from Overconfident gary.

Monday Couple Fan Fiction: Reuniting Blues Chapter 5

"Haish..."Gary sighed. "Still have so much to do...>pant<"

Gary lifted some empty potato crisp packets and cans of coke and hurled them into the gigantic rubbish bag that was already a third full. He wiped his sweat with a tissue, from the same packet of tissue that he gave to Ji Hyo a few days ago, and placed it back into his pocket. He had miraculously cleaned his living room, kitchen and bedroom in 10 minutes in a hurry. He had 5 minutes left to clean his study room before he has to get ready his attire and wait for Ji Hyo to arrive.

After every single piece of garbage are thrown away, Gary pulled the rubbish bag after him as he quickened his steps to his study room. Gary groaned as he looked at the mountain-sized pile of mess he had created. He looked for a spot to start cleaning but there was none, so he decided to start from the top. He climbed up the junk-pile and reached the top after sliding off some bottles of Soju and Coke(it is his favorite drink). He quickly threw the those he didn't want into the rubbish bag in gust and left those that he still wanted on the floor or table. He sorted out his stuff and swiftly deposited the rubbish bag into the recycling bin outside his house.

"Ah...just right..." Gary checked his watch as he strolled towards his bathroom in a relaxed tone.

It was 14 minutes to the time Ji Hyo will reach. He still had time, but time was still tight. He dashed into his room and grabbed a towel randomly, then proceeded to the bathroom, which was a small shower room. He took off his clothes and went into the shower cubicle for a quick wash with body wash. Quickly drying himself with his towel, he wrapped it by his waist and walked briskly to his wardrobe, which lay several dozens of shirts, three-quarter pants, original Levi's Jeans, hats of all colors and some sunglasses.

He chose a skull-printed green t-shirt and shorts, plus a Leesang cap. He tied his watch around his
right wrist and checked the time. His eyes almost popped out when he saw it.

There were only 2 minutes left, and Gary hadn't even checked if the house was really 'tidy'.

"Haish!....No time!" Gary scrambled through the house, checking this and that. The house was fine except for... The Ji Hyo corner.

Gary settled the corner up after some days after he heard the news of Ji Hyo's relationship with her. CEO. He always went there to comfort himself, looking at pictures of her and some others that they had taken together. It was really clean and tidy, no dust and any rubbish as he really treasured the
place. It contained a coffee table with a couch chair and a few custom-made pillows which had Ji Hyo's smiling face on them.

"Ah...Haish...What will happen if she sees it?"Gary was flustered. He scratched the back of his head hurriedly, with beads of sweat coming down his cheeks even though he just bathed.

Gary had a lightbulb moment out of the blue. I can keep them the photo frames and pillows in my storeroom, Gary thought. And put some books on the table, to act as if this is a reading place!

He immediately followed his plan. The storeroom stored some of his Leesang caps(new ones, not used), several lightbulbs, spare pipes and other stuff that we're not used.


Right when he finished putting the finishing touches to his plan, which was placing random books on his teakwood coffee table, the doorbell rang.

"Ah! Ji Hyo's here!" Gary immediately stood up and ran to the doors.

He checked his camera beside his door and saw the smiling Ji Hyo in her white sports car. He quickly
tapped on the password to let the doors open and it responded with a click. The two side doors of the
gates slid open and Ji Hyo drove in easily.

"Anyeong, Oppa!" Ji Hyo called from her drawn down window frame.

"Oh! Ji Hyo ah!" Gary exclaimed as he went towards her car doors and opened her door for her like a gentlemen.

"Ooh! Gumawo, Oppa!" Ji Hyo grinned as she revealed two Americanos from her back.

"Wa, Ji Hyo ah! You shouldn't have," Gary replied as he held the cups of coffee over as Ji Hyo slammed her door.

"Oppa...You need something to work with when you are busy, you know!" Ji Hyo snapped as she
walked to the doors as if the house was hers.

"Hehe..."Gary smiled weakly as he walked after Ji Hyo, but knew that behind Ji Hyo's words were, I cannot live without Americanos!

Gary pulled open his doors and he and Ji Hyo emerged into his clean marble-floored double-storey Terrence house.

"Oppa! I never knew your house will be so clean!" Ji Hyo commented as she walked into Gary's living room with her hands clasped over her mouth and nose in a surprised exclamation.

"Well, like I stated before, never underestimate males..."Gary shrugged as his face burned with blush.

"Oppa! You're awesome! Look at your couch! It's so comfy! I love your home!" Ji Hyo leapt onto
Gary's couch wide-eyed.

Ji Hyo said that I was awesome? Gary thought, blushing again.

"Well, next time when we get married, we can stay here!" Gary said, well, almost said.

He covered his mouth before mouthing the words. Are you an idiot, Hee Gun? You want to confess? Gary chided himself.

"Oppa! Can I get one of those cap of yours? I'm a Leesang fan! That's why I came to help to see new Leesang songs!" Ji Hyo says as grabbed a fashion magazine which was placed on his table next to the couch at the living room.

"Oh! Sure! There's some in the store room! Those are the new ones that I've never used before," Gary grabbed some of his spiky hairs in embarrassment(still).

"Okay! But, Oppa, where is your store room?" Ji Hyo asked as she stood up and twirled around in the middle of the room.

Gary was momentarily enticed by Ji Hyo's beautiful falling hair, her slim figure that hung by her as she swirled around. He was so immersed, he stuttered for a while before replying.

"Oh...um... I will take you there..." Gary scratched the back of his head as he led Ji Hyo to the storeroom, not knowing that if he leads her there, something serious between their relationship will unfold...

Ji Hyo was stunned by the sight of her oppa's house. It was sparkling clean, a typical house that might not have been owned by any busy guy like him.

She followed Gary's back as they walked past several bedrooms, which Gary had explained as Study rooms, Gil oppa's room, guest room, movie room, Leesang studio...

Ji Hyo was so excited of being in one of her idol's houses, Leesang's house. She could even get a Leesang cap and see Leesang's latest work! What Ji Hyo was doing now could fulfill every fangirl's dream...

"This is the storeroom," Gary Oppa announced as he stared blankly at Ji Hyo.

Looking at his face, Ji Hyo blushed, as she pushed open the doors to the storeroom. Ji Hyo' eyes popped as she saw what was inside...

There were photo frames and pillows with her smiling faces and some pics of she and Gary together.

"Ah! Right! Sorry, nope! This is not the storeroom! The storeroom is there!" Gary pointed at a room located to his right.

Ji Hyo and Gary's face both flushed. Ji Hyo stared at her feet, unable to avert her gaze.

Why were there me at Gary oppa's pillows and photo frames? And why did he get flustered when I saw it? Ji Hyo bit at her lower lip. Does Gary really like her? Ji Hyo didn't want to know, she had never once found things full of her before and she was really embarrassed.

"Here! Um... A Leesang cap! Let's get started then!" Gary mumbled sarcastically in embarrassment as he pushed Ji Hyo from her unmovable stance to his study room, which lay piles of unedited work.

"Oh... Um... Yes, Oppa," Ji Hyo tucked her hair aside as she sat down on a leather chair placed by her Monday Boyfriend by the study table.

She looked up at Gary, both with an unmistakable tinge of redness by each of their cheeks.
